Gloomy electro Mercury Music nominee Maps wouldn't be too high on our list of people to spend Christmas with but there's no denying he does make some rather brilliant music. After all, they don't just nominate any old loser for the Mercury Music Prize – just ask Ms. Dynamite.Well, maybe not.
As his festive nod to the season, Maps has covered East 17's vintage Christmas hit 'Stay Another Day' in his typically electro-misery fashion and not quite the bah-humbag his output might suggest, he's giving it away for free.
There's clearly a Christmas spark in all of us.
