The dog's bollocks (and the rest of it's genitals as well)

This week we did something rather old fashioned. We walked into HMV, found a compact disc we were interested in, took it to the counter and paid for it. We bought an album.

The album in question is Rex The Dog's 'The Rex The Dog Show' album and it is potentially the year's best dance record. It is both incredibly modern and also incredibly 90s - which makes sense because the album was recorded recently but Rex The Dog was quite popular in the 1990s when he was calling himself JX.

The best track on the album is 'Maximize 2008'. It is like an entire night out condensed into three minutes of sucky backward synths and huge electro beeps.

The rest of the album is almost as good and here is a definitive review to display just that.

Intro: Good.
Maximize 2008: Amazing.
Gecko: Good.
Bubbilicious: Amazing.
Prototype: Amazing.
Heartsong: Very good.
The Knife 'Heartbeats' (Rex The Dog Remix): Amazing.
Circulate: Amazing.
The Sounds 'Tony The Beat' (Rex The Dog Remix): Amazing.
I Can See You, Can You See Me?: Very good.
Itchy Scratchy: Quite good.
Italian Skyline: Amazing:
Frequency: Amazing.
I Look Into Mid Air: Very good.

After doing some maths we have averaged this in-depth review and the overall rating for Rex The Dog's album is MOSTLY AMAZING. It makes us want to have puppies and is available in shops. Both online and off. We enjoyed buying this album and recommend you do the same.
