Ten years on - Daft Punk are still Alive

This is probably going to be quite an exciting album.

It's the new Daft Punk album. However, it's nothing new – its their second live collection, which is a brave move from a band who are all too often accused of not bothering to turn up to play their own gigs and festival dates.

There may be some spooky coincidence to the fact that their previous live album was titled 'Alive 1997' or maybe this is an anniversary release - titled 'Alive 2007'.

Having seen Daft Punk at this year's Wireless Festival, it is fairly obvious that they are one of the best live acts on the planet. They are, at the very least, the only band we've ever seen perform from a robotic pyramid.

We just hope some of Thomas Bangalter's DJ Falcon collaborations are included – 'So Much Love To Give' and 'Together' made up a truly perfect encore at the Wireless performance.
