The PlayStation 3 has today added another impressive lifestyle element to it's arsenal of capabilities to entice the modern consumer looking for a system to take care of his every entertainment need.
Life With PlayStation launched today replacing Folding@Home - the piece of software that allowed your PS3 to do very big sums and perhaps help cure cancer and other nasty diseases. Doubtless most owners never bothered with it before now.
Essentially an online, interactive globe, Life With PlayStation allows users to read the news from the world's major capitals, check the weather and look at real-time cloud formations across the planet. The user can turn the world, zooming into the city of his choice for news or weather. It is very useful, looks rather pretty and is another major feature to put the PS3 ahead of it's competition in terms of being the ultimate home entertainment system.
It's just a shame most people are still more interested in playing games on their PS3 instead of turning a globe around and looking at some clouds. Can we have some decent games now please? Thank you Sony.

Folding@Home actually hasn't really been replaced; it's running in the background when you're using Life With PlayStation. I also thought it was a nice feature, and fortunately there are plenty of games coming out this winter to keep us busy as well.
Are there any readers that don't have a PS3 yet? I suggest you guys take a look at this Stacker 2 contest going on where you can win a PS3 (or Xbox 360, your choice). Right now there are less than 350 entrants, and all you have to do to enter is design a 6 Hour Power t-shirt. It's surprisingly easy to do, and there are also weekly prizes to win such as Rise of the Argonauts and 6 Hour Power energy shots. Check out the contest details here: http://www.brickfish.com/Entertainment/Stacker2?tab=overview
By the way, I hope you don't mind me commenting on your post, Blueboy. I work with 6HP so if any of you guys have any questions about the contest or the drink itself just let me know. If you enter, be sure to tell me and I'd be happy to vote for your designs. Good luck!
