Nice and unexpected

Bloc Party have played around with new rave for a long time, dipping their toes in with a remix here and there, but new single 'Flux' is a full on rave anthem, vocodered up to the eyeballs and boasting an incredible robotic/amine influenced video.

It would have been good to see the band dressed as the Power Rangers, and considering how tight Kele's trousers so often are, he could probably have provided at least the bottom half of a costume himself.

Still, amazing song, amazing video, an unexpected highlight of the year perhaps - although we did only see this video for the first time this morning so let's not get too carried away...
